Compare Scorpion S5 and S7 trackers
Start with what you need the tracker to do and any requirement set by your insurer. If your policy specifies S5 or S7, send us that wording when you enquire. The exact model matters, so check your insurer's acceptance before booking.
Scorpion S5-VTS: from £350
The Scorpion S5-VTS is a Thatcham S5 vehicle tracker with automatic driver recognition, known as ADR. Its driver tag lets the system recognise an authorised driver. If the vehicle moves without the tag being detected, an alert goes to Scorpion's monitoring centre, which contacts you to check whether a theft has occurred.
S5-VTS is the option to discuss when you need tracking with driver recognition. ADR provides recognition and alerting; the Ghost immobiliser in our combined package adds a separate restriction on starting the vehicle.
Scorpion S7-ALS: from £150
The Scorpion S7-ALS provides Thatcham S7 tracking without the S5 model's driver-recognition feature. It offers live vehicle location, journey history and monitored theft-recovery support with an active subscription.
It has the lower starting price of our two Scorpion options. Check whether it meets your requirements before choosing on price alone.

Ghost immobiliser and Scorpion tracker packages
A Ghost immobiliser and a tracker protect your vehicle in different ways. Ghost requires your chosen disarm sequence before the vehicle can be started. A tracker helps locate the vehicle and supports recovery if it is stolen.

Ghost immobiliser on its own
From £499, supply and fit. One-off cost, no subscription charges.

Ghost with a Scorpion S7 tracker
Combine Ghost's immobilisation with the S7-ALS tracking option. This package suits customers looking for both functions where S7 meets their requirements.
We quote the combination for your vehicle. The Scorpion monitoring subscription is separate; the Ghost element has no ongoing subscription.
Ghost with a Scorpion S5 tracker
Pair Ghost with the S5-VTS if you want the combined package with driver recognition. Tell us if your insurer has specified an S5 tracker so we can discuss the exact system with you.
Ask for a package quote covering your vehicle and fitting location, with the tracker subscription shown separately.
Scorpion tracker subscription costs
Your tracker subscription pays for Scorpion's monitoring service and app access. It is separate from the initial tracker and fitting quote, including when you choose a Ghost package.

“Lifetime” covers your ownership of the registered vehicle. It cannot be transferred to a different vehicle or customer.

Fitting your tracker or Ghost package
Send us your vehicle registration or make, model and year, along with your postcode. Let us know whether you're considering a tracker on its own, Ghost, or a combined package. If you're unsure, tell us what you're looking to achieve and any insurer requirement.
We will check compatibility, discuss the fitting location and confirm your quote before arranging the appointment. Your quote will identify the selected equipment, fitting and any separate monitoring cost, so you know what you are booking.
Most installations take 1-3 hours. The time needed depends on the vehicle and the equipment being fitted, so we'll confirm the expected duration for your booking, particularly for a combined package.
We can usually offer an appointment in the same week, subject to availability. All devices come with a 12-month warranty.

The Autowatch Ghost-II is a TASSA-verified product. S5 and S7 are the Scorpion trackers' Thatcham categories. We'll check the appropriate product and version for your vehicle before booking.
Questions about Scorpion trackers and Ghost packages
Does a Ghost immobiliser replace a tracker?
No. Ghost controls whether the vehicle can be started; it does not provide GPS tracking. Choose a combined package if you also want the location and monitoring functions of a Scorpion tracker.
Can I have Ghost and a Scorpion tracker fitted together?
Yes, we offer Ghost with either Scorpion S7 or S5. Send your vehicle details and postcode for a compatibility check and package quote. We'll confirm the fitting time for both devices when arranging your appointment.
Is the tracker subscription included in the starting price?
No. The advertised Scorpion starting prices and package quotes are separate from the monitoring subscription. Choose a plan from the options above and confirm the complete cost with us before booking.
Does Ghost have a subscription?
No. Our Ghost offer starts from £499 for supply and fitting, with no subscription charges. Adding a tracker introduces a separate monitoring cost for the tracker; it does not change the Ghost offer.
Will Ghost fit my vehicle?

Which tracker will my insurer accept?
Check the exact category and any other conditions in your policy, then share them with us. Acceptance depends on your insurer's requirements; selecting a tracker or adding Ghost does not automatically guarantee cover or a discount.
